Hi!
I heart zOMG!

Do you?
Please note, this is still kind of under construction!

So, facebook has groups and pages to like. Gaia has guilds, but how many people actually dedicate a lot of time to guilds? I don't personally pay attention to them, neither do a lot of my friends! There is a neat trick to find out how many people are in a server, and when you look in the forums they seem busy enough.

But how many people actually play zOMG!? Well I'm going to use this account to try and find out. New players, old players, hard core farmers, kill badge collects, if you play zOMG as long as you don't mind having this account sit on your friends list friend me, please!

As the general zOMG community knows we've been shunned by Gaia sad with only two people working on zOMG fulltime and our scriptor, Bron, being pulled aside for some other project not even the other devs are sure of his future. There is a chance he won't be returning to zOMG! 100%, and even a chance he won't be returning at all. Without a scriptor the game simply won't go anywhere, and without the resources a new scriptor can't be pulled onto the team in the mean time.

Now when I say shunned by Gaia, it's Gaia in a whole. HQ has turned their back to the game, but...so have the other users of Gaia. A lot of this is because when zOMG initially came out it was glitchy as all heck and down right impossible for some people to play! There were a lot of other rough patches, the great orb drought in which leveling up took serious dedication, boss glitches [does anyone else remember sitting around waiting for Kat's doll for a million years?]. Null fragments were made extinct, the start up tutorial has been changed over and over and over again, and overall zOMG seems to have been made easier. It feels like a completely different game now, but people still don't want to play something they had such an impossible run with before.

There are also the people who have just managed to beat the game, not everyone is willing to play the same things over and over again, but with the majority of Gaia being disinterested in zOMG we're getting no where fast.

The only way to get HQ, it seems, to return focus to zOMG would be if it turned out to be a money maker, for that to happen we also need a larger user base.

That is kind of where this account comes into play, a manual counter, so to speak, to see just how many people play zOMG!

While I'm aware this concept is likely to fail, how many people really want to friend someone they don't know?, I'm still going to try and make it work.
