*CB[Closed Beta] players received 1000gc, and 200k compensation.<br />
*CB was conducted on a server alternate from Gaia. <br />
-Players items were duplicated.<br />
-They were granted access to a specialized CB forum.<br />
*There were no difficulty settings for major quests.<br />
-Nor level cap.<br />
*Quest monsters roamed freely!<br />
-Shewolf did not occupy the den. <br />
-The black/white kokeshi was a rare spawn. Many players found themselves stuck on Katsumi's quest. <br />
*No minor field bosses. [Giant onions, nor puffs]<br />
*Badges were a later edition.<br />
*Level restricted areas were only out of Barton. Ex: You could still enter Bass'ken through Zen Gardens at level 1.0<br />
*Guns, guns, guns was not necessarily the ring you started with.<br />
*The "run away train" opening sequence' was removed.<br />
*You started in the train station where you were instructed how to use your rings by fighting stationary garbage cans. From there you were moved to the sewer. <br />
-There were no OMG [in the tutorial]<br />
-After you left the station there was no returning to it, or the sewer.<br />
-Your rings were not powerful enough to one hit targets, nor were the rewards nearly as great.<br />
*Quest locations were not marked for you on the map.<br />
