- I like it. I agree, the brown does not throw it off, it really brings a sense of completion to the piece, and brings out the character more than it would without a background. I give it a 5/5

I don't believe the brown throws it off at all, but in fact draws your vision towards the Celtic looking cross on his chest. I think the blue against the brown actually puts everything in a better perspective.
