Grendel's angel-
his guardian spirit,
his inner self,
the reflection of his soul.
Valkyries' angels are generally more warrior-like anyway, but 'Bound by Blood' is especially so.
The bindings, bleeding, and devilish elements all unite to reflect both the truth of Grendel's origins and his inner conflict over them.
Together, Gren and BbB sing in a mixture of opera with gregorian chant.
