I too can make nice avatars w/o putting on every expensive item I own. Because I have a theme.
My gold isn't lost on a random pair of panda slippers when I'm a knight. My gold isn't lost on a cat sitting by my dragon tail when I'm a ninja. I have a theme.
I don't have every gold item on my avatar, I'm not an angel. I don't have slippers or shiny skin. No pet nor petals. No laurels nor scarf. These items do not fit my theme.
