The night went to hell too quickly, none had a chance to survive.
An apprentice of an almighty mage had gone mad, killed his master, and used his cadaver for an atrocious spell. A spell to bring a soul back into existence, as the summoner's slave.
The spell failed, and the crazed apprentice lost his eyes. The failed summon caused a large red flash and spilled a tainted blood mist into the air, making nearby townsfolk mad as it taints the world. - Date: 07/24/2010
