4th in my "America's History in Photographs".
Old West Victorian fashion in the late 1800's included not only beautiful Gothic style, but also plenty of calico prints of all colors. Some other fashion options were petticoats, lace shawls, lace cuffs, gloves, vests, jabots, parasols, fans, & smaller fancy hats.
My entry is wearing the "over-skirt look". To obtain it, the 3 gored skirt is split in the center front, bustled at the sides and back, and closes with a drawstring waist.
