In a time long before time, the Elders ruled all and everything. Some nurtured from souls of lesser beings. One was more powerful than the others, so this Elder ate the other Souleaters.
Priests and shamans gained knowledge of the Elder Demon and gathered to imprison him, to stop him from eating any more souls. With united powers they banned him into a empty dimension, where he couldn't harm anyone or anything.
