It's just my opinion.
I wouldn't cosplay a character I don't know
or if I don't know the series properly.
Because I think in cosplays you need to take creativity and some kind of love, like in a real cosplaying.
And this "love" is not there, if you don't know any of them.

- Well actually if that were true then about 50% or more of the cosplayers on gaia wouldn't be cosplaying. Because you don't need to know about something to cosplay it.

If you don't know about Digimon you shouldn't made a cosplay of a character from it in the first place.
