- Artist: Ariellered
- Description: Name meaning "she viper"; Hybrid half-maiden, half-serpent; face & torso of a beautiful woman w the body of a serpent"; usually considered offspring of Tartarus & Gaia. Her mate, Typhoeus, god of wind, is described to have hands w 100 dragon heads; also described as a titan so big, he had a mountain on his back in which lived a dragon. Among their offsprings are Cerberus, Chimera, Sphinx & Nemean Lion.

Thanks everyone. Sadly I don't have a ref. pict. (wish I did). couldn't find one on internet...although I've been having problems w/ the connection and computer so that didn't help much.
