All he wished was to be recognized as a hero..
On Zacks last stand, his own Shinra soldiers were betraying him to think he was a traitor
and thought that he killed Sephiroth..

- And to anser the sniper question. In Crisis Core, you have a minigame to shoot these cruddy robos. Headshots and legs shots are the coolest at this part of the game.
