The snow falls silently to the ground,
throwing a blanket of white on everything,
showing the people that winter rules in this town.
The tree's leaves fall happily to the ground,
slowly flipping back and forth looking at the snow covered ground,
watching waiting for there time to come when they meet.
The winter shows no mercy for those weaker than itself.
