  • Title: Henna
  • Artist: Miss Sable
  • Description: I was doodling henna stuff on my friend. It's done with a regular ballpoint pen that was low on ink so the details and what not aren't as good as they would be if I were using an ink pen.
Believe it or not this only took five minutes to do and it wraps around her entire hand. By the time I was finished with this (about 30 mins) it covered her entire forearm.

  • To answer most of your questions I have one thing to say: READ THE DISCRIPTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First off yes it does wrap around her entire hand.
Second: It took about five mins. for what you see in the picture and about half an hour to do her entire arm up to her elbow.

  • Third: Yes I know it’s not Henna…I’ve had henna done to me before. This actually just started out with me drawing a flower on my friend’s hand and it progressed from there. I’m not trying to label my artwork as Henna nor am I saying I can do Henna artwork. I’m merely stating a basis for my art, nothing more.

    Fourth:
Thank you all who like my work and =p on the people who don’t. Its art dude…don’t take it so seriously. ^-^

  • Lead poisoning is all but a myth...I have a large piece of lead in my right arm and I'm not poisoned, not to mention it's been there almost fourteen years...I have one thing negative about this...though it's based on a Henna design, it can't really be called Henna ...I do Henna tattoos and know a lot about the history of the art...Henna refers to the plant used in mixing the brown substance that stains your skin. 5/5

  • Lead poisoning? I swear people crack me up these days.
Besides You need to have a MASSIVE amount of ink put into your system before you will have any long lasting or serious effects of poisoning. And I mean we're talking about three entire ink cartridges INJECTED into your blood stream. Maybe even more then that depending on the brand and if it’s nontoxic or not. And if I’m not mistaken most of what gets put on the skin dries before it sinks in through your skin.
