Description:
My friend Kirsty passed away a week or so from cancer. The whole picture represents what effect cancer has had not just on her but on others surrounding her. the red, sharp colours surrounding the girl represents the destruction inside her and the zig-zag lines represent oxygen-deprived veins. the blue parts represent the 'outside world', where thoughs of others are conveyed through symbols. The girl herself means many things; Kirsty wanting to break free/close one's despair or both.
