… Well, I guess it’s time to write a little about me.
You can call me Veeconia or Vee, I’ve been using these nicknames for so long, I could actually answer back if someone called me Vee on the street >.<
Gaia is already a 7-month old obsession of mine, WG is my online home and WGers my precious family... not matter how hard I try to wander around other threads, the road inevitably leads back home..
One of the main reasons – and the most important of all - I’m officially obsessed with Gaia is that 6 months ago I found my love in here… Gaia joined me and Papakis together in a real life relationship and words can’t express how grateful I am. Living in the same city and still I doubt if we would ever meet each other and be together. That doesn’t happen everyday, does it?
I’m an environmental engineer, working on my discipline and I love it! Since I was a teenager I had this sensitivity with the planet and the different kinds of pollution on it, the extinction of the species and their habitats and then fate led me to study all these interesting matters. I’m still very strict about pollution, but what I really believe now is that Gaia (the Earth) will survive through humans’ damages and exploitation no matter what. Then why do governments worry so much about pollution? Because all we do affect us first of all, directly or not. Yes, man is a very selfish species… I could go on talking forever about pollution, world poverty, global distribution of the wealth etc. If you want to discuss more on the above, or anything else, feel free to pm me!
Besides working, I really enjoy reading, classic and fantasy literature and physics/mathematics/chaos theory/astronomy books. “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll is one of my favorite readings, it is one of the greatest examples to study Chaos Theory >.<
I enjoy watching good movies with friends – but I find it quite boring to watch films by myself, always feel the urge to comment this or that >.< Soon I’m going to play my first RPG game and have been really anxious to see how it is.
Music is vital for me, as it is for millions of people. I enjoy different genres, but rock and some kinds of metal calm my mind – it may sound funny, but it’s the truth >.< it also helps me daydream, of things that have happened, will possibly happen or will not ever happen… Oh, and I strongly believe that I will never get tired of the voices of those two great rockers, Ronnie James Dio and Alice Cooper.... Love at first song! <3
Last but not least, I’m a kitty with people I love (*purrs* - “meow”) but a lioness with those that flame/hurt my beloved ones. Can’t help it >.<

I love it, this is a band that constantly changes. And all the nay-sayers are basically people scared of change.
And that's what I love about this band. It's always different. And still manages to be catchy.
1st album: Second Stage Turbine blade; was very melodic.
2nd album: In keeping secrets of silent earth 3; was a bit poppy-up beat.
3rd album: Good apollo I'm burning star IV Volume 1: From fear through the eyes of madness; was a bit blues/salsa styled. A very dark dark album.
4th album: Good Apollo I'm burning star IV volume 2: No world for tomorrow; was a whole new age metal. heavy riffs but still catchy.
But I'll shut up. x3 > w>
Oh, that's good. I'm glad. I was asleep all day yesterday. I didn't even eat. D:
and nope, i stayed at home today in order to fully recover. going to work again tomorrow :3
Oh, hahaha. I see, I forgot to ask you. How was the carnival? D:
YES! I'm glad you liked it, a lot of people we're hating on it 'cause it was "different" I mean. Srsly, they're a progressive rock band. Meaning it's always gonna be different. They're just scared of change. =/
