Hey Orchie ^^

I saw in the shop that you're going on your pilgrimage from the 15th to the 1st! I'm so excited that you are going to visit the holy site of Mecca. I remember you said something about delaying your trip for another year or so, but I'm glad you are able to go this year ^_^
But of course, I will be worrying for you, as you will be traveling far out of the country and I know there is a lot of conflict outside the holy grounds. I just hope you stay safely out of those conflicts and enjoy the time you spend out there. If you want, I can give you my cell #, and if you have access to a telephone, you can call me to let me know you arrived safely there. But only if you are comfortable with it - I can understand keeping some things private ^_^
So I'll see you around for the next few days until your journey begins ^^

I'm just stopping by your profile to see how you are doing.
I think Eid-al-Fetir is next next Sunday, the 20th...at least it says so on my calendar, lol. I've been meaning to find out since the last time I've inquired about Ramadan if everyone has been doing well.

I've been watching some status updates on Facebook and one of my friends was watching the fires going on in Los Angeles...so I hope those fires are far, far away from you D:
I get worried because San Diego is so close to LA...scary scary D:

I'll catch up to you soon, I hope. I've just been busy with work and supporting my friends and coworkers through some very unfortuante events.
One of my coworkers that worked by the registers passed away a few weeks ago due to an misdiagnosed illness, and one of my own coworkers in the deli lost her son about three weeks ago to a very tragic accident. On top of that, two of my other coworkers around my age are having troubles with symptoms of an illness their doctors can't figure out. One thinks she has Lyme disease, the other is terrified of getting a biopsy to see if her nodes are causing her confusion and mood swings.
It's been a very unsettling time in work, but everyone's been doing okay on the whole. As far as I know, everyone's in good spirits.

I just hope you are in good spirits, as well. Positivity makes a difference in the day and evening ^.^
