I got to meet Roger, but just long enough for an autograph. He really didn't say much. David is pretty much my idol. I emulate him when I play guitar. About Syd: I'm not sure if he would have had a great musical career or not. Music was evolving, but he wasn't. I'm sure he would have had a small but loyal following, but even if he hadn't blown his mind on LSD, I'm not sure he would have been what I would consider a superstar. Just my opinion.
Floyd is my favorite group too. I saw them (without Roger) two times back in 1994. It was their Division Bell tour. And I saw Roger twice back in 2001. I was very saddened about the deaths of Rick Wright, and to a lesser extent, Syd Barrett.
To hell with them. Never, ever apologize for you who are. That's the weakest thing anyone can ever do. Also, from what all I've seen, a significant amount of "them" grow up to be "us" eventually.
Fourteen and already interested in history? You are a gem! I find the English "Wars of the Roses" to be the most fascinating series of battles to ever be fought in history. I recommend you read about it. Alison Weir has a great book about it.
I'm sorry to let you down, but I wasn't even thinking about Tokio Kid when I created it. It's pretty much just about the tobacco ban, and that old joke: Me Chinese, my play joke. Me put pee-pee in your Coke. Not sure how old you are, but back when I was a kid, it was a pretty popular joke.

Bless you for your Roger Waters siggie. You just got 100x cooler.
Eh, I stereotype. For me, it's part of what makes life funny.

You can just be who you are and lead by example. It might take several years for people to see it, but they'll see it.
I weep for the future as well. However, you might be a savior to us all.
