I never know what to say in this kind of thing, so let me start by saying I'm a college senior majoring in English Writing. My major has a lot to do with who I am, because I love the English language. I love reading, writing, and even grammar. I try not to be a grammar nazi, though. Some of my favorite authors and poets are Geoffrey Chaucer, Shakespeare, Hans Christian Andersen, Sandra Cisneros, Robert Frost, Emily Dickinson, Michael Cunningham, and many more, of course.

My favorite forum is the Word Games forum, because the people there are so nice! The most polite and kind-hearted Gaians I've met all hang out in WG. I also like Avatar Talk because that forum has helped me make better avatars (and I've won some gold from contests, that always helps), GCD because it helps me keep up to date with what's happening in Gaia, and the Writing forum because writing is the love of my life. I tend to go for theme-based avatars a lot of the time. So instead of "my avatar is red and black" I'll more likely say "my avatar is a superhero."

I don't like begging, chain letters, terrible spelling and grammar, rudeness (although at times I'm unfortunately guilty of it), or people who I feel like say things just to get a rise out of others. As long as this isn't the way you roll I'll probably like you, and if it is I'll do my best to keep my mouth shut and be polite anyway.

I love movies, live theater, and T.V. My favorite TV shows change too frequently and my favorite movies are too numerous, so just ask me I guess.

I would like to say I'm an optimist, but few people really are all the time. I am, however, an idealist to the extreme. I care more about principles than pragmatism.

If you hate English/books/literature, we can still hang. Some people don't like that stuff, and that's cool. Everybody has something in common with everybody else, right?
