Chances are a medical doctor isn't going to do that on a whim.
Your best bet is either to go back to the piercer, and see if they can put a glass retainer in it,
Or,
See if the piercer can give you something, like an aftercare sheet that states the jewelry must be left in for THIS amount of time.
Take that to your doctor, and see if they'll write a note.
Im a nurse, and I work with a bunch of doctors, and I've never seen them write a medical note like that before.. But then again, iv'e never seen anybody ask.

hello i just saw you thread about piercings..
ok rule number one
Do not touch it unless your cleaning it(it gets pretty irritated easy)

Do not switch it out with the clear one because it will one turn it red and possibly get infected i say the soonest you can change it out would be the 3weeks but i dunno i waited a month to change mine
you can sleep on it it will not hurt it
the only way it will get caught on something is if it is a star jewlery lol(i had one)

Supermarket im pretty sure will not notice unless someone points it out
if you have to switch it out id wait atleast til 2 1/2 weeks and than switch it
oh and do not take it out i know the market will tell you to take it out and what not
ive worked at one and i had to take out mine
but ive noticed with the monroe people dont notice unless you point it out i got
that pierced my final week working at a market and they tried to
tell me to take it out but i didnt lol
