I think Chinese is still top to bottom, but I think it goes from right to left.

They use Japanese rules to teach Chinese? O.o So strange the world we live in today.

English is the second hardest language, Chinese is the first. That's true how we get our words stemmed from others, it's neat to see differences in dialects.

That's pretty much how it is in German too. Some are spelled the same way, but spoken differently. Or vice versa.

You're so lucky to not have pain. I've never broken a bone, but the times I've sprained them, it hurt a lot.
