And I think if all the silly little millionaires in the world contributed at least 10% of their earnings to the poorer parts of the world, instead of letting corrupt charities 'help them out,' people would be better off.

Depends on where they happen, but the ones I catch on cable seem to be set in cages quite a bit.
Various reasons. Easy money with no real mental education(yet a hell of a lot of physical and will training,) decent money, fame, typical stuff. Some people just like to fight, and it's a legal way of doing it. It's gone on since the beginning of our race most likely, and it's probably gonna end that way. (Which is why I can't see true peace happening, sadly.)

Nature is good, zoos are blah. Seeing critters in cages, no matter how cute, doesn't strike my fancy. =/
Although seeing dudes whack each other in cages is fine by me though. I doubt you saw any of that above ground...unless you have some eccentric tastes...

*swishes hair* I kno rite? I shampoo, do a nice, soft lather, rinse very thoroughly, then repeat it! Sometimes, twice a day!! =DD
And I ALWAYS tip my stylists well, just to make sure it's mega-hot. wink
