see, i tried to avoid drama, but then everytime someone asked me to pick sides i would tell them that i couldn't and then they would get mad at me. so i solved the problem but no one talked to me for a while. Nice right?

lol. Initially, I thought that Yusuke knew who she was. But later on it became obvious that he didn't. I think Genkai might have told him where to meet the fifth fighter, as if she had someone in mind, and then just went in disguise herself. Except one piece of cloth over one's face isn't much of a disguise. She could have at least changed her clothes!

I guess I'm not surprised that Yusuke didn't notice, though. And Hiei and Kurama had never met her, as far as we know, so there's no way for them to have known either. You'd think Kuwabara would recognize the energy, but...ah.

Oh, yeah! Now I remember! lol. I still can't believe that no one figured out that it was Genkai. She was even wearing the SAME OUTFIT.

I don't remember that at all! When did that ever happen? You're getting this from the anime, right? Is it the uncut version, maybe? I've only got the uncut DVDs of later episodes. ^^

I wouldn't mind beta-reading for you, if you'd like. Unfortunately anyone will tell you that I am extremely long in getting things done. For instance, borderline_mary had to wait at least three weeks for three or four of her chapters to be beta'd, and the friend I'm co-writing a novel with just got my update, when it's been SIX MONTHS since she sent me hers. XD I am very, very busy/lazy. (It's the same thing.)

Kurama is an extremely likeable character! He's very compassionate (to the right people) and sympathetic. Personally, I love his brain. It's so complicated and just...AWESOME! Hiei always makes me laugh, though. Even when he's threatening violence. ^^
