I live in the grand state of Michigan.

I hate the word potential.

I will try anything once.

I'm afraid of flying bugs.

I prefer the night over the day.

I try to make boring situations fun.

I dislike talking on the phone.

I like to cut/style/dye hair.

I also like to play with peoples hair, so you have been warned.

I like to play the xbox 360.

I draw poorly, but nonetheless I draw.

I like to play dress up still.

I love my friends, they're awesome. =)

I like being social, but also like to get away.

I like to exercise.

I don't like how people force religion upon others.

I do believe in God.

I don't dislike people who don't believe in God.

I am generally a nice person.
If I'm not nice to you, there is probably a good reason for it.

My plan for the future is: going to school for nursing,becoming more of an independent person.

My biggest fear at the moment is being unsuccessful in life.

My family is awesome.I couldn't ask for more.

I have realized that life is too short and I don't want to go about wasting it.

I like to believe that most things happen for a reason.

People think I'm crazy sometimes, but I'm really not.

I really don't understand what normal is.

I make comments about girls that make people think I'm not straight at times,
but I just speak my mind.

I like the idea of looking boyish.

I enjoy washing my hair way more than anyone should.

I hate when people scrape their forks against their plates.

I like awkwardness.

okay, so there are three waves of ska.
Wave 1 (first wave) came about in the 50s in Jamaica. Then, it was combining calypso, traditional Jamaican music, and american jazz. This is what influenced reggae, actually. Some good first wave bands would be the Skatalites and Byron Lee & the Dragonaires. English hipsters got a whiff of this, and decided they liked it.

The second wave (aka 2 tone) came about in the 70s-80s in England. 2 tone mixes the punk rock scene that was so popular in england at the time with the new ska sound. The name "2 Tone" comes from a popular record company started by a ska band member from the Specials, and the 2 tone movement was meant to support racial unity. (Race was kind of a big issue in England at the time.) Bands from this era include The English Beats, The Specials, Madness, and The Selector.

The third wave took place in the 90s and resulted from americans stealin' music from the brits. again. Basically it picked up momentum in California, and it eventually integrated itself into the popular music scene of the 90s. It kept old themes of promoting racial unity, and it also took england's punk sound and twisted it to produce a rather unique kind of music. Bands from the third wave include Reel Big Fish, the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Less Than Jake, Goldfinger, Sublime, No Doubt, etc. c:
