Im like OCD hair dyer. My hair has been every colour of the rainbow.
I dye it when I'm stressed.
I've done it since I was 11.
Now it's a confidence issue and I get self conscious when I have normal coloured hair.
It's terribly pathetic.

Because of both of these, I have no luck with jobs.
I fail.
SO. I'm in Cosmetology school.
Thats what I plan on doing as a career.
Cosmetolgy. I haven't decided yet, but I want to focus on special effects makeup.
Also, on top of thatttt, I want to do piercing on the side. I'd love to do that full time, but yeah, doesn't pay too well.

Nothing to occupy yourself with? Send one of your bomb-a** pics to bme and get yourself an iam! biggrin DD They'll give it to you for free! I'm glad it's behaving nicely! God damn, I don't know what I'm gonna do with my septum piercing right now. Technically it's at 12, but I've been keeping it 14ga because I lost all of my 12ga jewelry. I ordered some though, so I'm waiting for that. 8ga sounds perfect. I'll probably head for that or 6, who knows by that time~

Well, definitely take it slowly, it hurts more than you'd think, even if you do it slowly. I started off at an 16g that self stretched to a 12g (after like, 2 years hah), and after that I went up to a 10. Even if I had stretched it slowly, it was still swollen and a bit sore for a long time after, so I stretched it about 3 months later up to an 8g (which I am at now). I've been at an 8g for about 4 months, and I'm gonna stretch it again anyday now. If it doesn't get as sore for you as it did for me you could of course stretch it after a month or two (instead of waiting 3-4 like I did). I personally used lots of waterbased lube when I stretched mine, because gliding action is really required. I found that it worked the best for me.

Okie.
I had red streaks in my hair for a while, but no bleaching was required.
Then again, it was done professionally... Which is why I'm searching for an alternative; way too expensive to keep doing.

I still need to get a job first... then my parents probably won't mind; as long as I can maintain my job and pay for the upkeep, what's it to them?
Also, what kind of dye would you recommend? I have dark hair, and don't really want to bleach it... would Manic Panic work on it, or would I have to bleach first? D:
