I also loathe random friend requests with a fiery passion! If I don't talk to you regularly, don't expect that we'll be friends. Many people seem to ignore this little blurb in my about section, but trust me, it's very important. If I deny your friend request, THIS IS WHY. Ooh, shocking.
Because so many people ask this, here are the forums and subforums that I moderate: Gaia Community Discussion, Chatterbox, Entertainment Discussion, Picture Post, Requests and Commissions, Art Freebies, Art Contests, Textiles and Crafts, Musician's Forum, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Housing Arena, Profile Discussion.
As for actual real life stuff, I'm an avid Tolkienite. I love his writings, and have a huge book collection that I have yet to plow completely through. My home on Gaia tends to be in the LOTR subforum, due to this.
I'm also an alto saxophone player, and love music ^^
Anyhoo, I'm a huge art whore. Art is love. Unfortunately, I can't always afford the really expensive stuff, so if you have an art shop with good quality but low priced art, drop me a line and I'll check it out.
Or even better, if you're really nice and feel like doing me a favour, I accept any and all free art! Free art is especially loved. Most of the artwork that I have has been free artwork, from passing strangers and also from friends. Much love goes out to those who give me free artwork <333
