R.I.P. Mom.....I'll miss you

My mother died on January 27th, 2009 at 4:10pm from 4th stage breast cancer, pancreatis, liver sclerosis, and gallstones. The last three were caused by her drinking problem unfortunately.

On my last visit before she died, I drew her this picture on the drive there and packed three colored pencils that were her favorite colors. I remember her watching me color this picture in and her eyes gave way a hidden smile as she watched me hang it up on her closet door with medical tape I had snatched from the charge nurse.

Before we left that day she tried to reach for my hand but she was too weak. So I took her hand in my own and told her that I loved her. It was the only thing I could say to her over and over and it wouldn't get old. And she mouthed once that she loved me to.

Anyway, I scanned this picture when it was still in pencil form so it was very hard to work with in photoshop. That's why the lines are all jagged. But I had to digitally color it and post it up here for you guys to see. Just so that my mother would be remembered and her memory will preserve untarnished like this picture.

Currently enrolled in school. Taking Classical Guitar and Yoga.
Plan on becoming a Child Therapist and better classes for my goal next semester.

Currently working at C&C Market Research which is basically a survey place with lots of favoritism in the office. Unfortunately I'm mediocre in favor.

About to take a side job that's a little shady with its business and I'll be making my money "under the table" so to speak. But hey, its money and desperate times call for desperate measures.

Recently got in a car accident and now I have three chiropractor appointments a week. Expecting money coming from that shortly as well.
