Thank you for making me the first candidate for adopting Bug!
Anyway, my first thought is that I would love a chinchilla, but to be responsible I need to think about it first. Chinchillas can live a long time (15 years or more) so it is a commitment to take seriously. Do you know how old Bug is? How tame is he? I know a few things need to happen before I can give you a final answer: 1) Me and Michael have to meet him and see if he is nice, and if he could like us in return, and not have some wierd "I hate you because you smell wierd" reaction. 2) We need to see how Bug and Zilbinho get along. For one thing, we don't want Bug to be eaten or tormented as Zilbinho's toy, and on the other side of the coin we don't want Zilbinho to be scared of him causing him to be even more stressed than he will be anyway. 3) We need to know if it would be expensive to take care of Bug, as our money will be very limited at first and we already have to take care of the Binho, who has to have medicine sometimes. If you have to find a home for him soon because of your move, before we can get down there, go ahead and give him away, because we can't guarantee we will be able to take him. Michael, Zilbinho and I will be arriving in Florianópolis on the 25 of February, se Deus quiser. smile
