Welcome to the machine

Hey there. Since you're visiting my page, I might as well tell you about myself, eh? Music is my life. I play guitar, keyboard, mandolin, and I sing. I'm not aiming to be the best....I'm just going to TRY my best and do what I love. I hope to inspire people the way my favorite bands and artists inspire me......whether that be with my covers or my orignal music. There's this magical place I go when I play......not physically.....but mentally. I channel all of my emotions.....love, happiness, anger, sadness, fear......while I play. I'm very passionate about what I do. Some say I look weird....I should tell those people to look at Robert Plant when he sings....Alex Lifeson when he plays guitar.....or Tori Amos when she plays piano. Unfortunatly, those people just dont get it and I try not to let it bother me. I have to stop caring so much about what people think of me and just do my own thing and be myself.

When I'm not rocking out, I love to play videogames. Some of my fav games/series include: Baten Kaitos, Kingdom Hearts, Super Smash Brothers, Metroid, Star Fox, Mortal Kombat, Resident Evil 4, Dynasty Warriors, Tales of Symphonia, Sonic the Hedgehog, Perfect Dark, DK 64.......the list goes on and on.....

Another thing I love to do is play tennis. I took up tennis in 2005 to lose weight. By 2006, I lost 40 pounds and since, I play tennis as much as I can. I am self taught and while I'm not a pro....I can definately hold my own. Once the ball leaves the raquet, I'm a totally different person. I'm intense and competitive. I'll run into the fence to make a shot. Even though I play just to stay in shape and out of enjoyment, I take it seriously nonetheless. It's just the way I am.

As you can see from my background and my playlist, I love Rush. It's ludicris that they're not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They've been together for over 30 years, have recorded 19 studio albums (and toured for each album), they are virtuoso musicians beyond comparison, and they play 3 hour shows. They give their all everynight whether they want to be there or not. Let me stop before I go on a rant.
