I am the spirit of dreams. I am the one who keeps track and decides who gets what dream. My name, is Geneva. I am thousands of years old, but i hold the appearance of an 18 year old forever. I have short purple hair and a ripped black dress. My eyes are red and have two birth marks on each side of my lower cheek. Every night i go through your dreams. I almost never come out in my true form. I am usually concealed as something that goes with your dream. And never had I ever fallen in love, until a week ago.

His name is Graham Way. Every night for the last week I have been trying to get him to notice me. Yes, its true I've been slacking off, but love does that to you. Anyway he's a real human, I'm only a spirit. Although that doesn't mean I can't have him when he dreams.

Tonight i the night i am going to see if he loves me back. He usually starts to dream at about 11:00 average, and its about 10:50 now. Here it comes. He's starting to dream. His dreams are very beautiful. They usually consist of a meadow, or a river where he just lays there and lets his mind wonder. He has only had a nightmare once in the last month when I checked my files.

His dream was meadow with a big lake to one side and a forest on the other. I was in my true form and was about to reveal myself again. I could help myself. We have gotten to know each other in the last week. Chances are he only remembers half of it, if that. Although when he dreams everything comes back to him.

"Graham." I said walking over to him

"Geneva!" He answered back coming to meet me.

He hugged me tightly in his arms. "I cant hold back anymore, Graham. I love you."

We sat down on the grass. "I love you too Geneva, but your only a dream."

"I'm not only a dream!" I said loudly--almost shouting "I am a spirit! I will be here for as long as you live!"

"But your not real.." He said softly holding me in his arms.

"But I will always be here" I whispered in his ear. I pulled out of his hug and looked him straight in the eye "I may have no physical form, but I have the love of a true person."

"What will happen when i die though?" He asked.

"Please, I don't want to think of that." I said unable to look him in the eye anymore. I stared down at the ground. There must be another girl, a real one. I started to cry. How could i go on without him? I grasped where my heart would have been if I had a physical body. How could love hurt this much? "T-There is another one isn't there?" I managed to say.

"What do you mean?" He looked dumbfounded

"A real girl. There is a real girl isn't there?" I said looking up partly in rage.

He whipped the tears from my eyes and put his face so close to mine our noses almost touched. "I'm sorry." He whispered

"No.." I said quietly pushing him away. "No!" I Shrieked. This was not going to happen! All of a sudden everything turned dark. The sky turned dusk. The water turned black. He looked terrified. 'A nightmare, this is turning into a nightmare.' I told myself.

I backed off trying to calm myself down. Everything was turning back to normal. Even if he found someone else i still loved him. I walked up to him and sat on top of him "I will always love you" I said softly kissing him. I disappeared only leaving my voice in the air "I'll be watching" it said

Separated by to worlds. One real and living. One dead and dream-like. No matter what happens I will always love him. No matter what world he's in. No matter how old he gets. I will always love him.
