You should ask for prices at your local dealers, and individual buyers if you encounter any.
There's bound to be considering there are still mining towns around that gambling town of yours.

I'de first melt the gold down to a block form before I sell it to anybody.
Even the smallest block can fetch alot of fiat doller considering the rise.

You can sell gold almost anywhere. It's a prized commodity, and currency.
I would however steer clear away from the Cash For Gold schemes, Pawn Shops, Gold Parties, and et cetera that heavily advertise. They usually buy below current spot price from folks who don't know the current values, and just want whatever they are told.
Always measure by weight, and relate it to the current market value for an exact estimate.
