My OC [Original Character]

Name: Kaoru Hasunama

Appearance: Kaoru stands at a measly five feet exactly, and weights roughly 108lbs. Little miss skinny, however, is not all bones. She trains harshly every day to remain in top physical shape.
Kaoru's hair is short, spiked, and flipped ever so slightly (depends on how I want to draw her). Her hair color is originally as firey and red as the fire she controls, but she soon grew bored of the coloration and dyed it to a simple black. Every now and again, as the dye fades, you can see her true color shine through.
Her eyes are also quite unique. Their coloration fluctuates depending on the neko's mood. In a normal mood, Kaoru's eyes are usually a yellowish color that look quite befitting for her cat species. But when angered, emotional, or even aroused, the neko's eyes then change into a deep shade of orange that much resemble the fire inside of her.

Kaoru's skin is a permanant tan that never really goes away. It is tinged with an earthy, olive kind of tone, but mostly a healthy, sun attracted tan. She bears many scars on her hands and wrists, due to practice with her element, but many have healed and gone away with time.
Prominent features: Kaoru's eyes would have to be the most interesting feature about her.

Personality: Despite Kaoru's difficult past, she remains, on the outside, quite open and personable. She never backs down from a challenge, and her temper is often the wedge that drives people away. But despite sharp determination and oftentimes endless temperamental issues, Kaoru is quite the sweetheart. If you have a chance to sit and talk with her, she will quickly become a loyal and trusting friend.
Kaoru loves to have fun, but drinking is not a suitable way to become quick friends with her. Being a fire elemental has it's kicks; alcohol doesn't stay in her system long enough. It tends to burn faster and leave her without the normal qualities of a drunken person. But that doesn't mean she enjoys it.
Kaoru is also very loud. Surprisingly, though, she can keep secrets.
Likes: Outgoingness, determination, fitness, strength, loyalty.
Dislikes: Extreme laziness (that's her job), fruit (foodstuffs), cold, water, darkness.
Turn-ons: Laterr.
Turn-offs: Laterr, plz.
Weaknesses: Kaoru has the tendancy to get angry before hearing the whole situation. Her temper is the biggest problem about her, and her stubbornness does not help in most of the situations that she finds herself in.
In truth, strength is good. But in all actuallity, she has not yet realized that rushing headfirst into battle is not the smartest way to go.
Strengths: Kaoru's fierce determination is something that some people look up to. She never backs down from a challenge, even if it may cost her her own life. Her loyalty is also another sign of a great skill. She has fantastic friends, non of which have left her hanging.

Informational: I'm a bit on the pessimistic side; it's something you'll have to get used to if you want to be my friend. Initally, you wouldn't suspect me to be so. That's because on the outside, I'm rather personable. I'm pretty open with my emotions. it's behind closed doors that I am suseptable to my not-so-happy thoughts. But really, it's nothing to worry about.
I love to help people, but don't get me wrong, I don't go jumping headfirst into their problems. If you need or want help, then ask me. I've found out way too many times that automatically trying to give advice is worse than leaving the issue alone.
I'm pretty good with people, but I'm anti-social (try to understand that one. I don't.)

I prefer real life over hiding behind a screen. If you try to threaten me over the internet, don't expect me to take it seriously. But also, don't expect me to just turn a blind eye to you.
I'm not rude, and I try not to be a b***h. In fact, I think I'm rather nice and a bit too forgiving. But if you set your sight to hurt me or a friend of mine, I will take desperate measures.
I can be cruel.
Just don't push my buttons, and I'll try not to push yours.

Boymaterial: I have one. His name is Shaun, and he lives in Canada. Laugh now, but we've been together for two years and three months. Longer than most of my friends' relationships. Not to brag.

Plans: I set my targets on college, but I'm not sure which one. Major in English, minor in art. As long as it's close to my boymaterial. Whatever. I know what I want, and I'll get it.

Hopefully, if my [new]friend Jason agrees to it, I may be able to start an art shop, or a commissioning section. I don't know what they call it on Gaia.
