Tarnished Glitter 11/07/2009 7:43 pm: JROTC was a blast, I loved it. It was pretty much student run, the Colonel and Sergeants acted more as "guides" than teachers most of the time. Sorry to your school doesn't have a JROTC program! I was in Personnel for a year and loved it (did all the secretarial work for JROTC) and did colorguard (like you see at school football games with the rifles and flags) as well as facsimile team (like band color guard, with the rifles). LOVED facsimile. Would occasionally do unarmed practices, but never seriously. Very community-oriented.
