About

When it comes to writing 'About Me', I can never think of anything to write, for the most part because I really don't know anything about myself. I'm stuck in this void, desperately searching for who I am and who I want to be. I don't feel comfortable in my own skin, I'm shy and have trouble communicating in 'real life'; perhaps this is the reason why I spend so much of my time here on Gaia. It's a place where I can just hang out and be whoever I want to be. I can look however I want and not have to constantly worry about what people are thinking of me.

A few of the basics:
~I tend to be known around Gaia as Matt or Kiwi. In 'real life', everyone calls me Matt.
~I'm 18 years old.
~I study travel and tourism in the big smoke but am from a small town in the middle of no where.
~I'm a shy Kiwi boy whose heart belongs in France.
~I speak English and French.

This sounds like a cool summer job, but I understand it could be better for you to stay in Auckland, and maybe have a job that is more related to what you've been studying. Don't you have to pass an exam to get your diploma ? (maybe you've been talking about it while I wasn't around and I just missed it).
Actually I never used Skype, although I know it's great for people who need to call someone in another country. But I thought the idea of this voice chat feature was funny, even if from what I've seen few people are using it in the game. It was made so people in a crew don't have to type everything while they're busy doing a boss fight, but it's not necessarily convenient when people are from different countries and have very different accents.
It's a pity you missed the Halloween Event in zOMG, it was way better than the one on the site, there was treat or trick in Barton and fights with vampires and werewolves (with obvious allusions to your favourite book xD).
Peut-être que je devrais définitivement arrêter de te parler en Anglais, comme ça ça te ferait travailler un peu ton Français. ;]

Holidays in less than a month... then probably till March, that sounds good ! Are you going to try and find a job too (it's funny, it's awkward for me to write "summer job" xD) ?
I really hope you'll get the chance to go to University, even more if you're planning to study French ! I think I should check your French and make sure you catch up... I must admit I'm still afraid you're losing it for not studying it anymore.
Well my small gift might be helpful, then :] I hope it's a good sign I found that today. I just have to send it now xD (I've got plenty of gifts to send at the moment, I've been away from veryone for a while).

Wow, end of courses yet ? I read sometime ago that you were still hoping to go to university, it is going to happen ?
It's only a very small gift (and I thought I should get it as it's indeed small, so I can put it in a regular envelope). It wasn't planned at all, actually I wanted to send you a simple postcard because I'm wondering if it could make its way to NZ without getting lost or something... but now my plans have changed, added to that you'll get an envelope (don't say "wow", even if I know this sounds reaaaally impressive) xD
Here it is very rainy, but not so cold at the moment (because there is so much rain). It's not a cheering weather.
