It's been a few years since I changed this, so....
I'm a high school graduate, taking a gap year in civilian service. I serve about 50 hours a week, working as a tutor, mentor and role model for middle schoolers as part of City Year. I help run an all day Saturday program, which incorporates service learning to bring kids together and teach them about issues facing their communities, and what they can do about it.
After this, I'm off to the army, where I'll serve as a medic. Offically, I'm in, but basic isn't until January.

Yeah, the system changed my date to the 14th without anyone knowing. Recruiter called me up two days ago to fill out pre-ship paper work. Thanks man, don't plan on coming back without my EGA.

Is it weird if I ask you if you have a facebook? This conversation is too good to be carried out on a website that I don't plan on using..
I'm pretty sure that it's inevitable that I will like beer eventually. I currently don't have to PAY for my liquor. Once the wallet comes into play I know my selection will be limited.
I called the man once. He told me he was way too worried about me and gave our relationship a closer look.
Then I came home, apologized, and he kept it on his phone.. to embarrass me. And to laugh with me. I suppose it doesn't really help that he's two years younger than I am. Oops.
Uhmm. Whatever came in the keg (WHICH I HAD TO HELP CARRY UP STAIRS FML) Oh my goodness those are heavy.. So I have no clue what it was, and what it wasn't. I really like Vodka though, anything that comes in a glass bottle.

Me? Vodka. Vodka vodka vodka. Oh yeah, and some more vodka. But I'm up far anything that isn't beer. I tried it (..I'm on the rugby team so DUH I've tried it..) but oh my gosh I hate it. I tend to be drawn to things that are a little more pricey.

I think I could be the cutest drunk in history. I get super nice and I narrate my life. It's beautiful.
Oh my gosh! I've never had a hangover (how did I get so lucky?) but I feel SO BAD for people who get them. Wow.. does coffee really help?
Aren't I though? I was one of like, ten black people at my school...amidst a sea of Mexicans and whities. My hair no-doubt makes me stand out in a crowd.
And that's good! I'm ntoa bad employee, and I used to have a really good work ethic, but getting paid for helping customers, or getting paid to watch Lilo and Stitch.....
