Her hair was soft despite the tired exspression of her body, she had travled for so long. Shadows were cast across her stirn face from the wind blowing through her bangs. A dog with bright green fur stood at her side, cora‘s head only reached to the dogs shoulder. on its back rested a saddle the perfect size for her. Although cora was small she did not seem young or naieve, her innocence had been lost so long ago countless battles had been fought and she never was completely defeated.
Cora looked around as she saw the shadow of a woman cast on the ground behind a nearby tree. Cora's drained exspression evaporated as a smile cresed her face. "hello."? she said in sly mannor.
Cora could see the end of the womans long dark majestic blue hair, the color of her hair reminded her of someone but she did not yet know who. The tree stood just ten feet away cora had almost begged for a fight, many sleepless nights and tireing days had gone by since anything happend, she called out to the woman, "come out."?
It was not the woman's hair or her face that caused cora to remember who she was, it was the sword she carried. Cora could hear a faint whimper as the woman stepped into view, the kind that people make when their heart was broken yet did not want anyone else to know, that sad unavoidable whimper that comes before the uncontrollable cry. The woman wore a long black dress and her hair was down, except for the sword she carried you could have thought of her as another human house wife.
The dog became slightly uneasy and inched twords the woman growling fircely. Cora let out a quick high pitched whistle and the dog did not move anymore. Cora did not see the tears that rolled down the womans soft cheeks nor did she notice the fire of hatred that burned black in her eyes. All she saw was the sword that the woman drew from its sheath.
The smile upon cora's face only grew as she mumbled, "sobre"?
The woman that now stood in front of cora was alwase with her brother, no madder what he did or where he went she followed him like a lost puppy looking for someone to take care of her. John hated having people follow him, that's why cora stayed at home when he did his traveling for work. She understood that he needed his space. John's hatred for that woman was stronger than his love for cora. Cora slowly drew her sword, its blade glinted in the sun, yet the edge wasn't sharp after so much use. “why did you have to! the woman exclaimed trying to cut cora’s head off. Cora moved out of the path of the blade and cut the woman across her back.
"dana?"? cora said more in jest than accually asking her name
The woman gave no response but tried to strike again, her blade hit cora's causing a short spark .
"no. its not dana, your name is sheva?"?
"you don't take me seriously!"? the woman shouted. Cora was by far shorter than the woman but her skills surpassed that of the woman.
The blood that ran from the womans wound now coverd her back, she was losing blood at an oddly fast rate. "ill kill you!" she shouted, as time passed it seemed that she got stronger as aposed to weakening from her loss of blood.
"why." cora said more as a jest than a question. "why do you want to kill me?"
"he didn't desrve to die!"?
"ahh I got it your name is Iayitzu. No that's not it eather, that was 'his' name before you gave him the weak human name!"? cora clashed weapons with the girl again but drew back and used her speed to hit the woman on her stomic. "why wont she die?" cora began to realize something was wrong.
