EPISODE 11: LET IT REGIROCK
Mike: You ready?
Riolu(nodding): Ri!
Mike and Riolu, both charging their hands full of blue aura, punched a hole through a giant temple of rock.
Mike: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!
Riolu(nodding its head): Ri ri…
Mike: I’m not a Pokémon! I can't do this every day!
Riolu: Ri ri riri rir.
Mike: What was that about my mother?!
ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!
Mike: You better stop with your smart-a** jokes!
Riolu: RI RI RI!
Mike: Fine then, I guess we should get to the task at hand.What do you think was that roar?
Riolu: Ri.
Mike(grinning): 1st Legendary, here we go!
Mike and Riolu ran inside the giant temple of rock. Once inside, they observed the ancient inscriptions on the walls and many rocks on the ground. They tried their best to maneuver around the sharp rocks while looking around for clues.
Mike: See anything?
Riolu: Ri.
Mike: Me neither, except for all this Braille.
Mike and Riolu: !!!
Mike and Riolu then began inspecting the walls, which were covered with Braille coding. Luckily, the Braille dots did not describe letters, but rather pictures.
Mike: Hey, looks like this is telling a story!
…..
Mike put his face up to the walls and began to examine it.
Mike: Hmmm…It seems like many people have fought it in the past, but failed. The pictures also seem to say they used every weapon possible but still couldn’t take it down!
Mike looked at the wall once more and saw many minutare stick figures fighting a rock-like deity.
Are you serious? It took an entire nation to finally bring that one monster down?
Riolu: Ri?
Mike: I’m wondering the exact same thing.
Riolu: Ri Ri!
Mike:Huh? Oh, you meant look over there.
….Great, it’s actually written in Braille lettering code.
Hmmm…I guess I can decipher a little….
Mike pulled a book out of his pocket that gave him translations of every language on the planet.
Mike: Heh, good thing Lucia gave me this!
Now let's see what this says...

Riolu: Ri ri ri?
Mike: Watch your mouth!
But, you’re right, what does it m-
OMG pointy sword ahead!
Riolu: ???
Mike ran through a big open crack in the wall to the next room, without any regard for danger. Riolu quickly followed, ready to watch Mike’s back. Making it to the other room, Mike observed a huge sword made completely of stone implanted inside a computer sized Poké Ball made out of stone as well.
Mike(feeling it): Wow…This is awesome. But, it must’ve sucked throwing a thousand-pound Poké Ball whenever you wanted to catch a Pokémon! Haha, throwing this at a Pidgey and watching what would happen would be hilarious! Hey, Riolu, you’ve gotta feel this!
Riolu (shrugging): Ri.
Mike and Riolu begun to feel the large sword and thought it felt awesome.
Mike: Yo, we’ve got to try this thing out. Come on buddy!
Even though Riolu was reluctant, it helped Mike try to pull out the sword by pulling on Mike’s back, who was pulling the rock. Struggling just a little bit, they constantly tried to pull the sword out with all their strength. Finally, with one last push for strength, they both managed to rip the sword out of the giant stone Poké Ball. The force resulting from the pulling caused Mike and Riolu to fling back to a hard wall.
Mike: Ouch…
Anyways, let’s try this bad boy out!
Mike and Riolu then begun to play with the sword, pretending to fight with it and do poses. After Mike playfully knocked Riolu in the head with the sword, Riolu kicked Mike in the shin, hard. The two then begun to fight for real. They were stopped by a huge earthquake that shook the entire temple. The two stopped for a second in fear, and then continued wrestling on the ground.
The giant Poké Ball made of stone began to shake wildly and levitated in the air. After a few seconds, it stopped in midair and continued to shake uncontrollably. Unexpectedly, it exploded, sending a shockwave throughout the temple, shaking the largest of rocks. Also, Mike and Riolu were propelled up and knocked a few feet backwards as well.
Mike: What-
Is that?!
Mike observed the stunning creature that now stood in place of the stone Poké Ball. Riolu, terrified as well, took its battle position. The figure in front of them was a six foot creature made completely of tan colored rock with red rocks for shoulders and head. Its hands were tan boulders. The most eerie part of the creature was two lines made of 3 Braille dots each that were vertically parallel to each other. The dots all kept on flashing a yellow right, in random orders while the creature emitted a robotic yet alien-like sound. The sound produced a breeze that buffetted Mike and Riolu for a moment.
Mike: Well, this is gonna suck….
Riolu: Ri!
Mike: You’re right! It might be Regirock!
Riolu, let’s greet this legendary with a FORCE PALM!
Riolu charged Regirock with great speed. Regirock thrust one rocky hand towards Riolu, but Riolu dodged that as well as the other hand. Next, Riolu jumped up and scored a direct Force Palm in Regirock’s face. After a small explosion from the Force Palm, Riolu back flipped back and smiled.
Mike: Show off!
Riolu playfully stuck its tongue out at Mike. A second later, the smoke from the small explosion cleared and Regirock stood tall before Riolu, who became immobilized with fear. With one good swing, Regirock punched Riolu in the face, causing it to fly to the wall behind Mike. Mike ran quickly to Riolu as the menacing beast approached slowly. Mike quickly ran over to Riolu and felt its body. On Riolu’s body, there were irregular bumps that made its body seem deformed.
Mike: Holy-
It broke all your bones?!
Grrrr….Don’t worry Riolu! I’ll get this freak!
GIBLE! LET’S ROCK AND ROLL!
Quickly, Gible was released out of its ball and prepared for battle.
Mike (to Regirock): You like to play?! Then let’s show him how we play, Gible!
After Mike gestured, Gible used Dig, concealing its presence. For the next few minutes, it dug up and down again, hitting Regirock from all sides and dodging all its attacks constantly.
Mike: What the frick?! We’re not even getting a scratch on it!
Gible, come at Regirock with Dragon Claw!
Quickly, Gible erupted from underground, sending barrages of Dragon Claws at Regirock, who was being pushed back slightly. After one powerful Dragon Claw, Regirock was pushed back a lot, but still had no scratches. Gible then passed out on the ground because of fatigue. Regirock, not even fazed, strutted slowly near Gible’s body. It raised both of its hands, which were glowing white, above Gible’s body in an attempt to finish it with a move called Hammer Arm.
Mike: Not on my watch!
Mike quickly returned Gible to its Poké Ball just before Regirock slammed it hands on the ground. The force caused an Earthquake that caused Mike to trip and try to regain his footing. He stared at Regirock with anger and bit his lip.
Mike:What have I gotten us into?
Regirock raised its hands up and gave another robotic-alien like screech. Suddenly, the rocks and spikes on the walls above began to fall at an alarming rate.
Mike (grabbing Riolu): ROCK TOMB?!
Mike, with Riolu under his arm, dodged the falling rocks. However, while dodging, he tripped on a skeleton that looked like a soldier from long ago. Huge, spiked rocks then began to fall towards Mike, who was in no position to move.
Mike: NOOOOO!!!!!
As Mike raised his open hand up in defense, a thin yet widespread shield made of blue aura reflected the rocks and protected Mike and Riolu. After opening his eyes, Mike looked at his bright blue glowing hand and the shield, which began to wither away. The rock slide had also stopped.
Mike: ???
An shield made of "Aura"?!?! But that means…
Before Mike began to ponder more, he noticed a sword next to the deceased soldier. Picking it up and swinging it in the air to test out its quality, Mike smiled. Regirock began to jog towards Mike and Riolu, shaking the ground with every step and coming slowly.
Mike: Come and get some!
Mike rushed Regirock with the metal sword while giving a rather unnecessary battle cry. Mike’s sword clashed with Regirock’s arm, producing sparks. Mike was being pushed back slightly as the two forces continued to oppose each other. Trying to be cool, he rotated his body away, causing Regirock to slam its hand on the ground. Mike then swung the sword towards Regirock’s head, causing Regirock to recoil.
Mike: That’ll learn ya! Haha!
Regirock rammed Mike with its bulky shoulder, sending Mike flying backwards, bleeding.
Mike: Okay, when the f**k are we not flying backwards in this episode?!
Meanwhile, Riolu was starting to feel better, and got up slowly. All of a sudden, Mike landed on it once again cracking Riolu’s bones. Riolu sat straight up and gave a screech. It then roundhouse kicked Mike in the face.
Mike: I thought we were over that gag?!
Riolu: Ri ri ri!
Mike: Well excuse the hell out of me! I think I even helped you by re-cracking your bones back into place!
Riolu: RiRi….
Mike: Of course it makes sense. You know what also makes sense? Metal against rock!
Riolu: ???
Mike: You know how steel types are super-effective against rock types? Well, I was thinking maybe metal weapons hurt Regirock a lot compared to ordinary attacks!
Riolu: *shrug*
Mike:Hey, it seems logical! Let’s give it a shot!
Oh, but we’re not gonna have all the fun, are we?
ROUND 2, GIBLE!
Mike released Gible from its Poké Ball once again, who looked fatigued, breathing heavily and sweating.
Mike: Come on guys, we can do this! This is our chance to rock him!
Riolu and Gible, both picking up metal clubs from deceased soldiers, clobbered Mike in the head for the pun.
Mike: OW! See? Working together already!
Mike, Riolu, and Gible charged Regirock, who gave another robotic-alien, earthshaking roar. Regirock raised its hands in the air to send flying rocks towards the team.
Mike (closing his eyes and extending his hand outwards): Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa…………………….
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
Mike farted, causing all the Pokémon, including Regirock, to stop what they were doing and look at Mike with disgust.
Mike: No wait, something groundbreaking was supposed to happen!
Aw, forget it, let’s just move!
Everybody continued where they left off. Mike did the same thing as before, except this time, a small shield aura shield appeared around him, Riolu, and Gible while they were running. This protected them from the rocks. Riolu and Gible looked shocked they did not get pummeled as they were running.
Mike: You like?
Riolu used a long lion’s flail to hit Regirock dead on. Not wasting a movement while in the air, Riolu used the lion’s flail to wrap around Regirock and pull it back towards Riolu. Gible then tackled the incoming beast with its iron reinforced body. Regirock’s body slided back a few feet in pain. Mike then attempted to slice Regirock’s body with his sword. Even though it didn’t seem like it was making a scratch, Mike was hurting Regirock greatly.
Mike (striking a battle pose): WE’RE GONNA HAVE FUN WITH THIS THING!
The trio, in an epic manner, continued to fight Regirock, causing the temple to shake and making sparks fly all inside the room. Even through their courage and coordination, Regirock still continued to overpower Mike, Riolu, and Gible. Eventually, Mike, Riolu, and Gible were all bleeding, sweating and ready to collapse. One of Regirock’s arms glowed white again as it approached the group.
Mike: Well, this is gonna suck.
Mike and his Pokémon put their metal weapons in front of themselves to defend themselves, but the effort was futile against Regirock’s Hammer Arm. Instantly, all their weapons cracked as they were propelled backwards. Within a few seconds, they all bleed heavily and on the ground.
Mike: If it wasn’t…*huff, huff*
For my aura shield.... *huff, huff*
We’d be screwed.
Riolu (getting up with anger): Ri Ri!
Mike: Team effort my a**! That last part was all me!
Riolu: Ri! Ririri RI RI RIRI!
Mike: Stop jellin’!
Riolu: Grrr…..
Mike: Then you do something!
Riolu, placing its hands on the chest, closed its eyes and began to focus. After summoning the energy around it, a blue aura began to surround Riolu.
Mike: You can’t!
Riolu (getting into charging position):RI RI RI!
Mike: Riolu, no! Aura Sphere is our last resort!
Riolu opened its eyes as the aura around it faded. Then, Riolu began to focus its energy into its palms, which were to its sides.
Mike: This is it. *gulp*
Riolu then fired an Aura Sphere towards an approaching Regirock. The Aura Sphere exploded and sent Regirock a few feet back, but to Mike and Riolu’s surprise, it kept coming at the same, slow, but menacing speed. Riolu, with the same determination, did not stop firing off Aura Spheres, even though they had the same effect happened every time. Finally, Regirock was just mere inches from Mike, Riolu, and an unconscious Gible. Riolu, summoning up all its life-aura, fired a huge Aura Sphere. The Aura Sphere was the size of a large plasma screen TV. This captured Regirock in its path and exploded, with Regirock in it. All of Regirock’s pieces were scattered across the room. Riolu, after smiling, passed out on the ground. Mike quickly rushed to its side and began to cry.
Mike: Oh, Riolu....If only if you could've seen yourself. That was awesome.... *sob, sob*
The room began to shake. Simultaneously, all off Regirock’s pieces, and all other rocks on the ground began to accumulate into one place. Regirock, with his patented cry, returned . Also, the other rocks it reformed with became extra weapons and armor for Regirock.
Mike: And that was typical…
Aww man! We used all those weapons, used our surroundings, and called upon other forces of nature to defeat this thing! How can Regirock be defeated, damn it?
Mike felt a tap on his shoulder and turned around. He saw one of the deceased soldiers, skeleton, suit, and all standing straight up. It crossed its arms and focused on Mike, giving a serious facial expression.
Deceased Soldier #1: Excuse me sir, mind giving me my stolen weapons back?!
Mike: Zoinks!
Mike jumped into the arms of a similar looking deceased soldier standing straight up.
Deceased Soldier #2: That better be sweat running down your legs boy.
Mike (leaping onto the ground): Jinkies!
Deceased Soldier #1: Mind telling me why you stepped on me earlier, and destroyed my s**t?!
Mike: Um, would you believe role-playing?
Deceased Soldier #2: That doesn’t matter right now. The real problem is, we can’t be put to rest if we still have loose ends to be tied up on earth!
Mike: What do you mean?
Deceased Soldier #2: Me and that man over there were of opposing nations back in the past, but combined forces to seal away this Regirock. By Regirock waking up, our souls have been woken up in order to put the creature back to sleep.
This brings the question of the century to light:
Why the HELL did you wake up Regirock?!
Mike: That doesn’t matter. Soon, me and my friends will be-
…..
Wherever you guys just were! How can we defeat this thing? It just got 10 times more powerful. We're dealing with an unstoppable deity like creature!
Deceased Soldier #1: ALMOST unstoppable creature.
Mike: …Really?
Deceased Soldier #1: Do you remember what that one text said before you got in here?
Mike: ....
.....
Yeah but if weapons and resources from the nature around you won’t help, then what can defeat Regirock?
Deceased Soldier #2: There is one thing:
Itself.
Mike: ???
What the Falkner?
How am I supposed to get it to hurt ITSELF?
Deceased #1: Use something made of rock itself to defeat the titan!
Mike: Okay.
I GUESS throwing rocks at it seems like it would REALLY help.Mike: But where-
Both of the deceased soldiers gave the gesture of rolling their eyes, even though they didn't have any, and pointed to the stone sword that Mike and Riolu pulled out before.
Mike:
.....
Even if I do use it, where am I supposed to insert it?
Deceased Soldier #2: That I don't know. You'll have to figure something out, you're our only hope.
Mike looked at Regirock's pratically invincible body. Squinting, Mike noticed the spot Riolu made with its last Aura Sphere. It seemed that mark never recovered when Regirock reformed its body.
Mike (serious face): I see it.
Deceased Soldiers: Then we’ll get you the opening.
Mike: I’ll do it, for my Pokémon…
….
Hey wait… What’s Regirock doing?!
Deceased Soldier #2: Oh no, he’s using Curse, an attack that ups both his attack and defense!
Mike: That means it’s bad for us, right?
Deceased Soldier #1 (taking Mike’s hand and running with it): That means: RUN, B***H, RUN!
Deceased Soldier #2: IT'S GOING TO USE SUPERPOWER!
Mike: Super-
Regirock, radiating a faint gold, charged forward like a car with incredible and accelerating speed. It rapidly proceeded forward at Mike and the soldiers, who were running like crazy.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!
A hug explosion happened that propelled Mike and the soldiers to the room in which Mike and Riolu first entered the temple.
Deceased Soldiers: WE GOT THIS! GET THE SWORD AND GET IT DONE!
With unbelievable acrobatic movements for dead people, the deceased soldiers were holding their own against Regirock.
Deceased Soldier #1: Heh, I guess we still got it!
As the dead soldiers were fighting and holding their own against it, Regirock was using its new supreme body and abilities. It shot enormous boulders easily, made giant holes in walls with minimum effort, and shook the earth every time it stepped, much harder than before. Mike then picked up the stone sword with all his might and marveled at its features. He then noticed a small hole cut deep into the helm of the blade.
Mike:
"When both weapon…”
"When both weapon…”
Thinking about what needed to be done, Mike placed a Poké Ball into the hole.
Mike:
And natures fail…”
And natures fail…”
Instantly, the Poké Ball expanded as the sword itself did. The sword became longer, lighter, and the helm became wider and the color of dark red rock.
Mike: This is for all of you…
Especially you Riolu.
Mike charged with the sword towards the enhanced Regirock. Regirock had knocked the deceased soldiers away finally, re-killing them, as Mike approached.
Mike: “ONLY THE BODY WILL PREVAIL”!
Mike jumped up and thrust the sword into the crack in Regirock’s body. The vertical dotted lines on Regirock’s skull began to flash in yellow just as randomly as when Regirock was awakened. Regirock gave its last robotic-alien like screech as a neon white light surrounded its body. The white silhouette, enveloping all of Regirock, was sucked into the sword and into the Poké Ball in the helm. After the Poké Ball lightly shot out of the hoole in the helm and into Mike’s hands, the sword started to levitate in the air. After twisting for some time, it vanished,with a brown light, into thin air.
Mike (tossing the Poké Ball up and down like Marcus): ONE DOWN, 33 MORE TO GO.
The deceased soldiers each gave Mike thumbs up right before their bodies became lifeless once again and their souls came out their bodies passing into the afterlife. The temple began to shake as Mike strutted slowly out of it.
Right after he exited it, the temple sank into the sand, never to return....
Mike (raising his hand with Regirock’s Poké Ball into the sky):
