Being a zoologist in training, Kale is an apprentice of one of the most prestigious scientists in the nation, the young, 24 year old, and beautiful Mara McInterny. The two are truly the... dynamic duo. Together, their studies are as one, and are highly skilled in their work. Kale is the trainee, the 23 year old college graduate that was weeks away from graduation. The two fell in love, and were almost immediately engaged, the two destined for love.
After Kale graduated, The two moved into a peaceful house in the beautiful coast of Rhode Island, on a coastal home, almost isolated, yet so close to civilization. It was like a paradise. They married.
In a cross with fate, Mara was brutally injured and then killed in a home invasion of an unknown, but heavily armed intruder in their cabin that they rented out for a week. The cabin was isolated in the forests of Maine, away from all help. Kale managed to injure the silhouette in the dead of night, making a run for it, forgetting all, after realizing that the love of his life was dead. The killer was not alone. Being chased, alone, enraged, and terrified, Kale was startled by a wolf-like figure, like the other shadows in the darkness, and had a horrifying crash. The motorbike was wrecked, and he was stranded. Before he slipped into unconsciousness, he saw the figures looming over him, and then a snarl.
Nothing, after that.
He was found 8 hours later by a family on a road trip, on the side of the road, bleeding from the neck, helmet face shield shattered, elbows on jacket torn open and bleeding, and knees bloodied, and most of all, unconscious with a large, 3-part gash in his stomach.
Awaking some 2 days later in a hospital bed, he felt strange. Heightened senses, and a yellow lace in his normally beautiful grey-green eyes. He wondered what was going on.
That was two months ago.
To this day, he has been searching for the killers of Mara, and who did this to him and his love.

Kale's eyes are grey-green (like I mentioned before...) and they are quite apparent. His features seem etched, but somehow soft. His sideburns are grown quite long, but shaven as they enter the facial region (O_o). His hair has grown out to neck-length pretty much all over. It's shaggy, ruffled, like he had just gotten out of bed. His bangs are swept to the side right over eyes. Even though he has long black-brown hair, he can actually SEE. ( :0 ) His arms are relatively bony, except his left hand has a large scar from the accident. His teeth are a gleaming white, which is surprising because of the alcohol intake per day. (I hate to have this as short. oh well...)
