In the midst of a Cold War, and entry into the digital age, a real war was seemingly inevitable. In the midst of 1983, the Greenview Microbial Engineering Corporation (GMEC) under the supervision of the United States government, using tax dollars for funding, created Project Styrling. A deadly virus, genetically engineered, called Decessus, which is Latin for 'death'. The virus takes control of the Amino acid and RNA production centers in the body. In it, a chromosomal agent then assimilates the Nucleotide Adenine, changing the chromosomal code from 3938398 to 8899889 in the newly produced cells. Blood cells, white blood cells, skin cells. All cells in the host's body are replaced as they die by the newly produced infected cells. They also modify the regulations of hormones to the brain's medulla oblongata, the center for anger, rage, lust, and sadness. In turn, his emotions rapidly affect his body temperature. When provoked in moods, when he is agonized, angry, or set into rage, it rises the temperature from normal 98 degrees, to 130 degrees Fahrenheit. That causes a rapid release of the transgenic and mysterious infectious hormones, which is released into the surrounding air. The microbes split a few of the trillions of atoms, causing a cataclysmic outburst. The effects are destructive. A nuclear explosion equivalent to one mega ton is caused. There is no radiation, however.
After the downfall of the Soviet Union, he was finally retired and put into cryostasis in the year 1991. 18 years have passed, and he hasn't aged since. The way he is genetically modified will prevent him from aging, but he will live a normal human life span, about 80 years or more. He is in the appearance of forever 16, even though he is technically 26.
Styrling has modest, but handsome features. His skin is free of blemishes, but strangely pale. His eyes are a pale and deceptive blue. They swirl with a curious lighter shade, small rungs of gold around the pupils. He has a slim build, with bottom-neck length black hair that is not frizzy, but it is not greasy. His bangs are nose-length, but they are brushed to the side right over his eyebrows. They cover his forehead completely, and his eyebrows. The sides go to the bottom of his cheeks, and gradually going down, all the way to end up at his shoulders. He has soft skin, and he does not look like a fighter at all. The fine and subtle art of deception.
His clothing is standard cryostasis protection. On his torso, is a white body armor-like top. It's glossy, with basic armoring against the below zero degrees of cryostasis. It has a chestplate that detects his vital signs. It is a backlit light blue LED that matches his eyes. It lights up with his pulse. On the elbows are more of these LED lights, like elbowpads. He has gloves on his hands, and are interlocked with the cryo protection. The front has an airtight zipper, the shoulders dark grey, and a dark grey mounting stripe down his back and to waist. On his legs, is the near-same pattern. On waist, is a belt that links the torso clothing to the leg and lower body clothing. The thigh pads have etchings on them, backlit with active LED lights that are the dull blue color. The knee pads are the same, but with an LED stripe across the middle of knee. The back knee joint has the blue LED lights lining the fabric-plastic composite. He has boots, which are white like the rest of the gear. They have grey buckles that are completely air tight, and there is a single LED light, and that is a motion detector and temperature monitor.
When his temperature rises, the lights turn from blue, to green, to yellow, to orange, and then red (as a final warning), warning the provokers to leave or be vaporized by a blast so powerful it rattles the heavens.
