I hate cooking- honest to god, I hate the hell out of it. I can't cook for s**t- ya, I got used to cooking eggs- plain and simple, some time ago, but I ventured out my comfort zone, loooking for food, and happened to come across some pancake mix I bought.
Thinking it'd be fun, quick, and easy to make (christ, c'mon, it's ******** PANCAKES! How hard could it be?) *sigh* I followed the directions, forgetting to grease the skillet- burned it,, made a thick, battery mess all over the stove, and burned and the food pretty damn badly-nearly burned the kitchen down, and panicked. ;_;
Threw everything in the sink and cleaned up the mess on the stove and counter- got water everywhere- even on the floor- god knows how the hell I did that >_>
Second attempt- remembered to coat the skillet so the pancakes didn't stick to it and burn- seemed to go easier the second time around- the pancakes came out nice, once I flipped them, and I thought they were edible.
Turns out, I flipped them too quickly, and the middles were still semi-sodt and gooey. Could've kicked myself...
*sigh* So I ended up eating a ******** granola bar, and an damn pissed at myself that all the work and effort trying to cook simple as hell ******** pancakes didn't pay off in the end.
******** my life.
