The "epic custody battle" over plants that were left at Gaia when some bad juju went down last May is finally over.
Italy is shaping up nicely. I sent contact info to a B&B in Munich that I really liked, and Florence / Rome are being handled by my friend currently abroad in Italy. My passport is at my parent's, the airline tickets bought, and the travel guides are on their way. I'm officially very excited. I've never been out of the country before, though in all fairness I've been to about 12 states. Add to that California's ability to engulf most small countries, and I think I've travelled quite a bit so far.
Tonight is the last Softball of the season, marking the playoffs, where we will be playing the biggest bunch of dickheads tonight. When we played them last, after going up 9 runs on us, they just started switch hitting and swinging at everything just to make fun of us. Honestly, if they do that again tonight, I don't think we should bother playing them. We go out there to have fun and learn, neither of which happens when the other team plays like that. Without softball on Wednesdays, my week will open up a bit, which is nice. I'm thinking of moving my Capoeira to Mondays and Wednesdays and start training twice a week.
I feel like I should dedicate myself more to the art of Capoeira. Not only do I absolutely love the music and culture, but I'm finding myself getting much stronger all over. My Batizado is Nov 29th @ 4pm at the Senzala Restaurant in Santa Clara (google it). $25 at the door, and I promise you awesome Brazilian food in exchange. You should come check it out! I'll also be receiving my first cordao (rope/belt) which is simply awesome. As far as I know, Mestre Wagner's teacher will be flying up from Brazil to attend the event as well. And so, if you can come, you really should. Not only will it be an awesome day full of awesome food, but will also be full of really great people.
And now that it's past 8, I gotta keep to schedule and go get cleaned up.
P.S.: Happy Birthday, "Trouble"! (You know who you are!)

I'm still really jealous of your Italy trip! Don't party TOO hard when you're there!
The new job is sounding great as ever! Keep us updated!
