Bet you expected more crazy roleplay entries, right?  Well... I want to talk a little about that, but not quite yet.
Gaia is still as per usual for me. There were a couple things that ruffled my feathers from oh, February until now... but I don't really dwell on much here. Do my responsibilities, post a little, play dress-up. And I'd like to think that I'm good at those things. 
With the addition of skin dye, my avatar has undergone a dramatic change yet again. It's weird. Her face is totally different than it was a year ago. New eyes, new mouth, new eye gear... and now a new skintone. I had wanted unusual skin tones since I started here. One of the first and only avatar edits I did was giving my avatar blue skin.  So whenever we get proper skin dye ears, I'll prolly retcon that into her default look.
... Though damn it, it wasn't too long ago that I finally updated all of my edits to have hair similar to the silken. Bah!
And continuing on that thought, my adventures in roleplaying here have been interesting so far. It's a little strange to be working with an original character, as I haven't ever roleplayed one seriously. So you can imagine my irritation that everyone assumes that "original character = person roleplaying mary sue character." Well, "irritation" might be a bit strong... I am actually amused, to be honest. My life isn't perfect, as whose is really... but I have no need to live through my characters. I am a writer. I write to tell stories, not for mastubatory purposes. And as an actress... I want to give a good performance! 
So you see, for me roleplaying takes both writing and acting and combines them. Not everyone has these grand aspirations of course, but I totally do.
My current annoyances on Gaia really have nothing to do with Gaia itself. Dragon spam, private server spam, and referral spam. Funny how that works, isn't it?
