Name:
- Title: Beramode of Conspiracy
For simplicity's sake she goes by her codename, "Beramode of Conspiracy," in which we're going to assume "beramode" is some kind of title. Has to do with some massive sort of movement that happened in the Durem underground. It's an infamous name rather than anything good, but she's the sort of personality that probably likes being called by the name even if it's a little awkward to proudly give it to others outside of say, a battle.
- Common name: Irazoki Amarante
"Irazoki" is her family name. As the duchy is controlled by her mother's family, their name is hers.
- Japanese name: Hebi no Amarante
Japanese citizenship used to require adopting a Japanese name. Yes, it means "snake." There's probably a story behind this.
- True name: Kebi
Almost no one knows this, as it can be used to control her.
Royalty:
- parents: Duke Iske and Duchess Erlea of the Netherworld
- father gone + mother deceased = she's a duchess
- royal birth explains elegant manners but doesn't amount to much
Birth:
- Born: December 10, 1804 BCE
- Birthplace: Itjtawy, Egypt
- Eastern zodiac: Dragon
- Western zodiac: Ophiuchus
- birth on earth was the cause of her lack of strength and the birth defect that is her right eye
- no actual right eye or sight out of it, as it is an energy storage/amplifier
- only direct access to energy would be upon death; even owner cannot access
Past: There's a timeline over yonder that explores this further.
Current:
- lives in Durem
- does random tasks for the Kuros
- owns coffee line
- owns coffeehouse
Appearance:- pure red hair
- red eyes with slit pupils
- pointed ears with a bit of length to them
- grey, scarred skin (variable, see skills)
- hourglass figure
- two head wings (rare, prolly has to do with the royalty thing, blahblah)
- two lower back wings
- demon tail
- eyepatch (see birth)
- 5'10"
Personality:
- talks like a gangster
- politeness can be awkward but is a great actress when needed
- sensual
- greedy
- arrogant
- tough
- loyal
- lustful but generally not loving
- voice is neither delicate nor deep... inbetween, with usually an inflection of what she thinks of whoever she's talking to; think Shiina Ringo
- references: Marlene Dietrich, Alice Roosevelt, Ichihara Yuuko
Languages Spoken:
- Abyssal
- Middle Egyptian
- Japanese
- Chinese (Mandarin)
- English
- Italian/Neapolitan
- Ilythiiri
Style:
- styled suits and uniforms
- leather
- dressed to the nines or not dressed at all
Likes:
- smoking (mostly kiseru, sometimes cigarettes/cigarette holder)
- drinking (alcohol or coffee)
- making money
- playing piano
- motorcycles
- weapons
- jujutsu
- manly men
- fu- uhh, fun
Strength:
- probably isn't stronger than the average human man
- weapon proficiency (can learn most any weapon fairly quickly, and has average skill for most)
- defence (may lose, but will likely live through situation)
Skills:
- 1) Shapeshift
Though she's too stubborn to use this as much/wisely as other demons, she can change her appearance at will. Whether to blend in or just because she wants to. She's generally too stubborn to hide her red hair, though. If she's trying to appear human she will wear grey contacts. Can hide scars, can change colour, etc.
- 2) Charm
The usual demon charm/seduction/whatever. Basic stuff. Totally avoidable if the subject is strong-willed.
- 3) Contract
She is capable of forming a "contract" with a human for an extended life. This can either be charitable or done for her own reasons. The conditions:
a) intense emotion from the demon to propose the contract
b) the human must accept the contract
Both parties must be willing or the contract cannot commence. And while the subject may outlive their natural lifespan, they are not immortal. Though it can't revive the dead, she can use this skill to save someone that is dying if she so wishes. The contract may cause strain to the subject. The only way to avoid the weakness is:
a) living in the netherworld
b) wearing a special pendant
Other known side effect: subject's eyes may turn red.
