Strengths:

He is nearly heartless on a mission to anyone outside of his village, so he isn't very protective on escort missions. He overestimates his parnters and enemies at the same time.

1.Clone Jutsu (Bunshin no jutsu)
This Jutsu Allows the user to create a single Clone of His or Herself that can act freely, but will disapeer as soon as The Real preson is Knocked out Killed runs out of Chakra, or unsommons it.
2.Replacement Jutsu (Kawarimi no Jutsu)
Depending on the users element this Jutsu causes the user to be replaced by a elemental object and reaper some where near by. This Jutsu is used to get away from attacks or to confuse the enemy.
3.Body Flicker Technique (Shunshin no Jutsu)
This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily boost the user's reflexes. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance between the user and their intended destination. Shisui Uchiha, one of the most talented Uchiha, was feared as "Shisui of the Body Flicker" ("Shunshin no Shisui"), likely referring to this technique.
The Body Flicker technique has various variations among the different hidden villages, all of which involve some extra element aside from the movement itself. The extra element is usually some sort of substance used to distract the opponent, such as leaves or sand. Gaara, for instance, uses the "Sand Body Flicker" (砂瞬身, Suna-Shunshin?), which uses sand to cover his movements. Other varieties include the "Mist Body Flicker" (霧瞬身, Kiri-Shunshin?), "Water Body Flicker" (水瞬身, Mizu-Shunshin?), and "Leaf Body Flicker" (木ノ葉瞬身, Konoha-Shunshin?).
4.Shadow clones (Kage bunshin no jutsu)
Unlike the regular bunshin no jutsu, Kage bunshin creates real clones, not just illusions. The power and chakra of the user is evenly distributed among the clones depending how many there are. This makes it impossible to decipher which is the real body. This clone can also attack. If this clone recieves a direct hit, it will disappear. This is treated as a forbidden jutsu but many advanced shinobi still know it. It is mainly a jounin level technique
5.Shadow Leaf Dance (Kage Buyou)
A technique that first sends the opponent airborne while the user attaches to the opponent's shadow, leaving the opponent vulnerable to stronger attacks
6.Peregrine Falcon Drop
In this jutsu, Sasuke grabs a falling opponent by their ankles, wraps his legs around their waist, and drives them head first into the ground, similar to the end of Rock Lee's Front Lotus. Sasuke used the technique twice in the anime without a name; its name was established by the Naruto collectible card game and fighting games for GameCube and PlayStation 2
7.Earth Release; Split Earth Turn Around Palm (Doton; Retsudotenshō)
This technique causes the ground surronding the enemy to spiral inwards on itself, burying them alive or crushing them.
8.Earth Release; Earth Flow Rampart (Doton; Doryū Jōheki)
This jutsu raises a large ridge or hill from the ground. Yamato uses this technique along with Water Release: Waterfall Basin Technique while demonstrating elemental chakra types to Naruto, creating a waterfall as an example
9.Clone Great Explosion (Bunshin Daibakuha)
This jutsu works in combination with the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu and creates a Shadow Clone that will explode on command, potentially killing or injuring those caught in the blast.
10.Earth Release; Earth Style Wall (Doton; Doryūheki)
The user spits out a stream of mud that quickly grows and solidifies into a strong, protective wall
Background:
Jin grew up in a very quiet home. If it wasn't for his younger brother he would have forgotten how to speak. He loved to go outside and climb trees and scale homes when he was younger. He always helped his father and mother around the house and carried things for his mother when she needed. He loved his family more than anything in the world. Then one night a group of rival ninja snuck into their home and young Jin was still awake. When he heard the slightest noise he sprung from his bead and cracked open his door. He saw his father at the end of the hall standing in front of all the ninja not allowing them passage any further. When the prepared themselves for an attack he pulled on his gauntlet and finished all, but their leader in one stroke. When their leader had replayed what had happened in his head he blinked and Jin's father disappeared. The ninja walked further down the hall and opened Jin's room door first. Jin fell back at the jerk of the door by the ninja. As soon as the ninja looked down at Jin a claw and chain wrapped around his neck and pulled him back. The next morning Jin ran up to his father and said that he wanted to be able to do what he did. His father smiled and nodded. He kneeled down in fron of Jin and handed him a gauntlet that he had made for Jin anyway. As Jin got older each year he would outgrow his old gauntlet and his father would have one ready for him. Now that Jin is in the ninja academy himself his father taught him how to make the gauntlets and told him that he is head of a group of ninja called the Fuuma ninja. His father left and returned a month later exactly when Jin was accepted into the academy.
After staying in the academy Jin had graduated to genin. He was paired with two other ninja named Zinata Orichitu and Mitrian Hyuuga. He had become close to them and their sensei Kakashi Hatake, who eventually became the Oiikage. After the chuunin exams Jin had focused more on his taijutsu and though grieved with the lost of his teammate Zinata leaving he and Mitrian continued to train with their sensei to pass this exams.
This time Jin had accomplished the feat of passing the chuunin exams with his new teammate Kiba Uchiha. The two barely had a chance to know each other and when they had passed they had decided to talk during their 'celebration'. Then Jin had left to go and travel the lands some and train a little on his own. He had continued to practice gathering large amounts of chakra into the palm of his hand, still anxious to learn the chidori. Now he has returned to the Shroud village...
