Welcome! Thanks for coming to see what our guild is all about!
First things first, C.H.I.C stands for Chicks High In Courture. This is mainly to emphasize the fact that we love fashion in general and not to exclude any guys that may wish to join. The name "CHIC" was just extremely cute and hard to resist...could you blame us?
C.H.I.C, as one entity, is not here to tell other users what they can and can not wear. We just know what we like, what we would wear, AND we wear it. This goes for Gaia AND real life. So, if you enjoy mixing, matching, or not matching (tastfully) then C.H.I.C is for you!
We have been M.I.A for a while but are most defintely coming back and part of that process will entail recruiting members. Now, don't worry. If you were not invited to join, you may still request to join. I will tell you how later.
What do we do as a guild? Not much, yet. We are going to have the following in the near future as we gain more active members. So, if you don't plan on being active then please don't join. Mind you, by active I mean participate at least twice a week - three times a month. So, it won't be extremely time consuming.
Avatar Advice/Rating Thread
Right now, there is an Avatar Rating Thread sponsored by C.H.I.C in the AT forums. If you were not invited to join, prior or post sending in an application, you may want to ask me to rate you first.
As more members join, I will be adding a crew just so we could all give varied perspectives on what we think another user should do to improve their avatar if necessary. Note, this is tasteful advice giving. This is as far a C.H.I.C. will go in advising.
C.H.I.C shop in The Exchange
In this shop we will showcase different outfits and sell them as a set to other users of gaia. For simplicity sake (and because we don't have many members) a charity will also be avaliable here where we will give commons, uncommons, and rares to random or chosen users. This is still in the works, so if you would like to join in this, please make that clear in your application.
Avatar Contests/Auctions
This is farther down the line, we will host contests where artists will come and compete to draw us individually or as a group. Because this is ALSO a costly event, we may choose to wait until more members have joined.
