You stare at the sign as thick fog surrounds your form, seeming as though the only two items on this broken road are yourself and this display. Still, as you peer forward, you feel as if something up this road is calling you- wanting you. Even though you feel your stomach sink at what lays before you, you take your first step forward to begin your own hellish nightmare...

Welcome to the Silent Hill RP and Discussion Guild! If you're looking at this then you're probably thinking about joining our.. ahem.. 'loving' community! The role playing and discussion will be kept in separate threads so make sure that you keep to the correct one so that your posts will not be deleted.
Let's begin with a few rules:
1. Respect all other members and opinions. Though some may be mistaken over posts, do not be rude in correcting them. [I.E. Calling them an idiot.]
2. Respect officials of the guild. If there is a problem, don't hesitate to message them but be clear on what the problem is. If you are being harassed, give some sort of evidence such as user name, page number the post was on, and any information you feel would be useful.
3. No trolling. Trolls will be immediately banned.
4. No crossovers that are ridiculous. Like... Dragon Ball Z or something like that. Silent Hill consists of regular everyday people and if you're going to bring someone in from another series, they need to be regular people and not somebody that can fly or fire beams from their eyeballs.
5. To limit the amount of fussing over game characters, IM the Captain if you want to be a character from one of the games. You will be given a quiz to make sure that you have the ability to cover than character before given permission to take them over. All other members will RP original characters. When a member who is a game character leaves or gives up the position, there will be an announcement if anybody would like to try out for the part.
6. If you're going to play a monster, don't overpower the monster. You cannot instantly kill somebody without giving them the ability to respond or react. If you are having trouble with a player who is being an OP monster, send a complaint!
7. No large, bold font. It is annoying to everybody and will not be tolerated.This is a great way to get yourself banned so keep font at regular size or lower.
