So, you've found your way to my asylum! Let me be the first to truly welcome you and give you a quick overview of what you'll be doing here.
You will be playing an insane patient of your own creation in a slightly futuristic setting of an asylum. (Only slightly.) They will interact with other Charges (patients), Orderlies, and Doctors as well as, if you so choose, be subjected to supposed treatments to their ailments including but not limited to: Shock treatments and other arcane things in the Basement, general medical treatments including the prescribing of certain medications (either created in real life or of your own imagination—just know that the treatment will be available for everyone once you create it), various psychological tortures and exorcisms.
Patients can be admitted for a variety of reason. Some really are delusional, thought to be possessed by demons, under alien control, or simply admitted because they have some 'unique' power. The powers, however, will be monitored closely and MUST have limitations. Yes, you can have telekinesis, but you can only move small objects, and it may or may not always work. (if it always works, you will be limited to smaller objects/more limited ability) I and other moderators hold the right to ask you to revise the ability for the sake of this rule, so please, for your sake, change it if we ask. It could determine whether or not you can create a character here.
Charge (patient) creation is ALWAYS OPEN.
For a certain period of time, you'll be able to create the Doctor of your patient or opt to have someone else be your doctor (should they have a Doctor character created/under their control). I'll post here and send out announcements every so often allowing the creation to open up.

Like all asylums, there are Orderlies, though they will generally be played by everyone in needed situations. There is also the option to play an Orderly, though the creation of these will be limited. The times for these to be created will be posted here and sent out in guild announcements like Doctor creation.

You can have as many characters as you can keep active. Keep in mind that this is a literate roleplay so we'd like to see actual sentences as opposed to **'ed actions. General rules are posted in the forum, which, is open for non-members to view since we're a private guild. You'll also find character bio templates. PM me with character bios for reviewing even if you DO NOT have a special power. When placing a join request, please give me a short character overview OR an rp example for them.
