back in the 1970's in japan, singer released this sweet punch card knitting machine, that can knit four color patterns and can make sweet textured sweaters and s**t. tis the awesome, so the other day, at my gradma's in the attic (i'm the sweet, looking for awesome vintage-ness) and i find these boxes like four of them, and it is said knitting machine. its now at my house. i've kinda set it up, but there is a reason that it is in mint condition at my gradma's house (still in the original styrofoam in its boxes with reciepts and everything)
that reason being, its confusing as ********, and all the instructions are in poorly translated english. but i shall figure it out...eventually, then i will post some of my sweeeet sweaters and purses, and other knitted goods 3nodding

i just thought it was the coolest thing ever, and assumed that the sewing forum would appreciate this heart

That sounds really awesome! I saw a couple pictures of this kind of machine, but man, they look too confusing for me, 'cause I'm so hooked on hand-knitting. If you can find the model number I bet you could find better instructions for it with a little diligent online searching.

its the singer 327 memo-matic

it was bought in canada in 1977 (i'm holding the original reciept, my grandpa is a bit of a pack rat) i also have something called a ribber in a box...but i havent even opened that for fear of commiting suicide out of frustration
