Well folks, it's come and gone. Perhaps you collected bucket loads of candy, just passed it out, or threw an amazing party. Heck, maybe you crashed someone else's. However you spent this Halloween, hopefully you did it in style.

Here you can post up pictures of your rad costume, admire others, chat about how you made it, where you went in it, reactions of others, and maybe even talk about next year's plans (or am I the only one who thinks that far ahead?). Whatever.

And no worries. We won't insult any stupid expressions.

To start us off, here's my costume! I was a 60's themed bumblebee- dress, wings, and hair are all done by me. I was down to the wire on this- I 'finished' the dress Halloween afternoon, was making the wings while getting my hair done and the trick-or-treaters were knocking. There are a number of ghetto short cuts (the wings are held together almost solely with tape and safety pins), but overall, I'm pleased with it. It's nearly identical to my original sketch which makes me insanely happy. Plus, I know I'll fix all the shortcuts one day, because this costume was awesome.

It's a rule that the best picture of the outfit will always have the worst facial expression.

Back, sort of better view of the wings and my hair. I "beehived" it by adding yarn and twisting it up.

We did a Wizard of Oz Halloween in our front yard with five characters giving out candy. I made the Dorothy costume for myself in 2007 using a store-bought pattern. The Glinda I made this year for my sister. I'm really proud that I created the pattern from scratch on this one. She's got a very specific form, so I draped the bodice pattern directly on her. She made the crown and wand for herself.

I love the little Toto peeking out of your basket. Kudos for hand draping the bodice, it looks like it fits her perfectly!

Lol awesome!! Those costumes are rad. Well, you guys know that I went to an anime convention on the 30th through the 1st. I knitted my costume and I was VERY surprised that I got so many double takes. A lot of people asked me how long it took, if I made it myself, and if I was burning up. I did get a little hot after dancing in my costume. Everyone's excited about my next knitted costume. I think I did make the dress a little too form fitting since my big rump was just shouting, "HI EVERYONE" ....yeah, I'm in a youtube video and I noticed it. >>;; I went as Super Milk-chan.
