I'm working on designing an Absol amigurumi for a friend of mine, and maybe one for myself. I've been running into the same problem over and over and over again and I'm about ready to pull my hair out. You see, I need to make a separate piece for the white part of its head and i don't have any felt or embroidery skills, and i would prefer to crochet it as well. Here's some reference pics:

So, any help?

Tis My dream avi. It's worth over 5 million gold.
I'm never gonna get it... *sigh*
Help, please?
you could just crochet from the blue up, and then increase a bunch to get the side part like that, insert some wire to make it curve down like that, decrease til you get to the point and see how that works for you.

this seems like it'd a lot of trial and error. ^^;

Cross-stitching would be easier if it was me. I learnt from researching and reading books. ^^
Though I've never tried doing a Pokemon before.

if she cross-stitched it, it'd just be 2D :p
