Saix looked a little confused at how casual Tina was about the girls death. "Huh..." He felt something in the back of his mind for a second as the last vestiges of his power clung to the most primitive part of his mind. They weren't enough to make out whatever was there, but he knew it was something. "Anyone notice anything... odd?" Being where it was and in the state that it was in his power could no more tell that Lexa was in trouble than if a person had whispered something from a hundred yards away.
Luke looked at Madison and for an instant there was a hint of hostility to his stare before it disappeared behind his normal calmness, "I merely wish to prevent this from happening again. I don't want to trigger his other side in the meantime though... so I should know what to avoid."

((I noticed the near stalemate between Matthew and Saix... But, Janice's new post gives an opportunity.))
Saix shrugged at Matthew with a bit of a smirk and looked over to Madison and was about to answer when Tina called him, "Fear?" Saix smiled a bit then knelt down to get eye level with Tina, "You don't remember me, do you Tina? We've met once before when you were with another little girl. You saw my fear then... I guess what happened after you showed me my worst nightmare made you forget. Maybe that was enough... I would like to not see how my mind has changed just yet. You and Gabriel can come inside with us. No doubt neither of you have eaten since the day started..." He then stood up and walked over to Madison and Arken. "Sorry about that... Matthew had a bit of an identity crisis which had to be handled... And it was easily handled at that, no doubt due to his willingness." Saix had put in that last bit as a bit of a crutch for Matthew who no doubt felt bad about the events so far. "As for my hair and eyes... this is what I look like when I have no power left. Spent. Utterly and completely. Gonna have to meditate 'cause of this..." Saix walked past the group grumbling as he walked towards the front entrance. "I'll make some food." He said loudly and waved to the others.
Luke sauntered outside and nodded to Saix as they passed. "Matthew! I have some ideas that might help." Luke said with a smile as he walked over. "Lets peer into that mind of yours... Of course you won't be able to tell so you won't get triggered probably... But I need to know what happened to you if I'm to help you get a grip on it. And I think me finding out by myself would be better than you consciously bringing it up, yes?" Luke spoke with a new grace, almost as if he was hosting a house party and he was speaking to an honored guest. "Come inside with us and I'll ask you to just sit down and we'll begin once you're ready. Once again, you won't be conscious of it so there's no real danger of you being triggered unless you think about it yourself."

Saix frowned a bit and walked forward, putting a hand on Matthew's shoulder. "We'll work on that. Can't have you going off at everything, can we? Let's head inside."

"Pah." Saix looked back toward the house and motioned for the others to approach. "You didn't do anything wrong. A part of you was triggered... that happens to us all."

Saix stood up as his eyes and hair returned to their natural brown. His body seemed more powerless than before. "Well this sucks. I just wasted all that energy Sophie left me. Looks like I'll have to recover on my own." He looked over to Matthew and spoke up again, "You okay? You took a hell of a beating there."

"No need apparently..." Saix brushed himself off and walked over to matthew, kneeling down next to him. "Sorry to go so rough on you..." He pulled out a kerchief from his pocket and held it forward to Matthew's bleeding face. "May I?"

Saix panted a bit before standing up and catching his breath. He doesn't have much energy left. "I sure as hell hope so..."

Saix grunted as Matthew grabbed his shoulders. As he began to look up at his opponent a smile appeared on his face. "Never touch a psychic... at least, not for longer than the instant it takes to punch them. I can control you now." Tendrils of power extended from Saix's body and latched onto his foe's nervous system. "Gabriel, hit him so he doesn't get up. I can't hold him and do it myself at the same time."
